Yaroslavna Nosikova, founder, Director and chair

Yaroslavna Nosikova is an associate in the McCarthy Tétrault LLP Tax Group in Toronto, where she maintains a general income tax practice. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2017. She holds a JD from University of Victoria (2016), and M.A.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto (2011), and a B.Sc. (Hon.) in Chemistry from the University of Toronto (2009).  She is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. 

Yaroslavna was born in Russia and grew up in Novosibirsk, the capital of Siberia. She is fluent in Russian and English, and conversant in French.

Andrey Serdyukov, Treasurer and Director

Andrey Serdyukov is a financial analyst in the McCarthy Tétrault Business Analysis Group in Toronto, where he is responsible for using business intelligence and data analytics to gain insights into firm’s productivity, profitability and industry trends to aid Senior Leadership Team’s decision making. He holds an MBA in Financial Management (2015) and HBA in Economics (2011) from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Andrey was born in Kazakhstan and grew up in Shymkent, the capital of South Kazakhstan Region. According to some sources, Shymkent is 2,200 years old. Andrey is fluent in Russian and English, and conversant in Kazakh.

Iakov Radyushin, Director

Iakov Radyushin is a Candidate Law Practice Program (Ryerson University, Toronto). He holds a Master o f Laws degree from the University of Toronto (2018), and two separate undergraduate degrees: Bachelor’s Degree of Law from Samara State University (Hon., 1994); Bachelor’s Degree of Economics from Samara State Academy of Economics (1999), and also a Doctorate degree in Legal Sciences (Moscow, 2004). He was born and grew up in Togliatti, Russia. Togliatti of one of the most industrial towns o f Russia. He was a lawyer in Russia, a university law school lecturer, an active member of the law society, and an upper-level manager in two world-class corporations which produce unique products, and a deputy Mayor of his hometown - Togliatti. He is fluent in Russian and English and conversant in German.

Yuliya Khraplyva, dIRECTOR

Yuliya Khraplyva is a legal counsel with the General Counsel Office at the Ontario Securities Commission – Canada’s largest securities regulator. Prior to this, Yuliya spent seven month living in Moscow, Russia interning at the Baker McKenzie law firm, primarily in its corporate and securities practices. She received her law degree from the University of Victoria (2016) and Bachelor of Arts from York University (2009).

Yuliya was born in Ukraine and is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian, and conversant in French.



Konstantin Sobolevski, Director

Konstantin Sobolevski is an associate in the McCarthy Tétrault LLP Business Law Group in Montreal, where he maintains a general corporate practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, securities, continuous disclosure matters and mining.

Konstantin has previously worked as a senior lawyer in the Moscow office of an international gold mining company, where he was involved in mining, cross-border M&A, securities and public disclosure matters. Konstantin also worked as a commercial and business advisor to a Canadian mining company.

Konstantin obtained a joint common law and civil law degree from McGill University in 2016. He also holds a civil law degree from the Saint-Petersburg State University in Russia. Konstantin is a member of the Quebec Bar and he is admitted to practice law in Russia.

Konstantin was born and grew up in Saint-Petersburg. He speaks English, Russian and French.


Alexei Kovalev, Director

Alexei Kovalev is an associate with the Real Estate Practice Group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto. The primary focus of Alexei’s practice is on acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate, as well as land use planning and development issues. He obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and holds a B.A. (Hon.) in History from McMaster University.

Alexei was born and raised in Arkhangelsk, Russia.
